TANZILA JOTY

ENTHUSIAST OF LITERATURE  AND LITERARY THEORY

This is Tanzila Joty, someone who aspires to leave a positive imprint on the world and to make the world a bit better with my tiny existence and little presence.

I am a passionate explorer of nature's wonders. I find solace and joy amidst the serenity of nature.

Painting is my meditative outlet, allowing me to weave stories and emotions into tangible forms.

Adventure runs deep in my soul, with so much of the world still waiting to be discovered!

Books are my constant companions, feeding my hunger to know the unknown and broadening the horizons to decolonize my mind.

I am deeply driven to understand human psychology, a facet of life that we constantly come across yet struggle to grasp.

I find profound fulfilment in extending a helping hand to uplift and support those around me, whether by simply sharing experiences, offering opinions, or sometimes just listening.

In my spare time, I enjoy sipping coffee on my balcony, listening to Tagore or John Denver, and allowing the soothing music to gently echo the beats of my heart.

 Research Interests

Research Interests

I am keenly interested in integrating psychoanalysis, postcolonialism, and gender studies to unravel the intricate interplay of women's power and identity in postcolonial settings, specifically in the context of Bangladesh. My primary focus is understanding how these intersecting factors shape the thoughts and behaviors of individuals and communities.
